Shoes are an outfit's favorite accessory. I love shoes. Here are a few different shoes that I think are just adorable!!

I love the peep-toe sling back. I also ADORE nine west shoes. These would look really cute with a one color spring dress!

And neon is totally in right now, which is why these Aldo pumps would be super cute! -$100

And what the hell is this Prada?  A flame at the end of the shoe? I don't see how that is resourceful especially for almost $1000 for a shoe? Um. Thanks, but no thanks.

Now here is a beautiful designer shoe, Manolo Blahnik - $945. Totally not within budget, but they are too pretty not to at least put on here...

March Madness

So boring right? Who wants to talk about Iphone cases? I know I know, those who don't have an iphone right? Anyways, if you aren't on board with the appleness - then maybe this post isn't for you, but I'm about to post so serious cuteness. So, just hang out for a minute.

Cover me with something fancy

Oh, it's February? You don't say? Too early for bathing suits? I don't think so.

Why don't we just start off with some bathing suit cover ups that you can lounge around in. I mean seriously, it's never too early to pretend you're at the beach..or an island. Or maybe this will inspire a much needed get away?

Fancy Mac and Cheese

Seriously, what is more amazing than macaroni and cheese - I will tell you. It is macaroni and cheese in the shape of a muffin and somewhat healthy.

These are down right amazing.

Ingredients:
4 c cooked whole wheat or high fiber macaroni
1 T butter
1 T flour
1 c skim milk
1 garlic clove, minced
3 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
3 oz Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 egg
1 egg white
1 (10 oz) package of frozen chopped spinach, defrosted, drained and patted dry (or you could use 1 cup cooked fresh spinach)
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
1.    Pre-heat the oven to 400. Lightly mist a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside.
2.    In a small sauce pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour, mixing it into the butter until thick. Stir in the milk and garlic and raise the temp to bring the mixture to just under a boil. Add the cheese and whisk mixture together until thoroughly combined into a cheese sauce.
3.    Remove the cheese sauce from heat and then mix in the egg and egg white (binding agents) until combined.
4.    In a large bowl, combine the pasta, spinach, cheese sauce, salt and pepper and mix together. Spoon the mixture evenly into the cups of your prepared muffin tin.
5.    Bake for 10-15 minutes until the tops slightly brown. Let cool 5 minutes before removing from muffin tin.

February is "Heart" month, "love" month - whatever you desire to call it.

Fancy Buns

What is better than having a good set of buns? Or a good body at that?


Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is where it's at. Seriously - it kicks ass butt. There are 3 different levels, and depending on your expertise of exercise is which level you should pick. If you've yet to set foot off the couch this year, I'd say stick with level one. You'll still be out of breath and wanting to scream. For those of us who do a little bit of jogging every day and know what the inside of a gym looks like - you might want to do level two, it's legit. Level 3 is for those of us who are a bit more advanced. Obviously, the goal is to start at level 1 and work your way up. You can also try it that way.

Jillian Michaels doesn't hold back, and the whole workout is 20 minutes long, but you don't stop at all. Like - no water break. It's pretty intense.


And let's be honest, Jillian isn't exactly sweet. She's kind of intimidating. Don't act like you're not scared.

The girls at Oh, You Fancy Huh have all tried it - and completely reccomend it.

Musique

Fancy isn't just about how you look, it's what you listen to. This is obviously where people differ. Music is beautiful. Period. 

 

 If you haven't heard of The Avett Brothers, well - you've been missing out. When you listen to their music, it's almost like a feel of "home". You consistently feel like they have been friends of yours for ages when you let their old school feel music tingle your ears.

Fancy Food

What else is fancy?

Not eating like a cow, that's pretty fancy.

It amazes me the amount of people in this country that don't take better care of themselves. So, on this fancy shmancy blog, we will be sharing different types of food and recipes that will help keep your waist slim and your inner self glowing.

When you feel great on the inside, it helps you look even better on the outside. Even though we hate to admit it and you can say it all you want, but does anybody really want to be ugly on the outside and pretty on the inside? Nah, I'll take both please!!

I won't be sharing a recipe today, but look for them because they are a'coming!

Fancy Schmancy

For one to know how to be Fancy, you must know what fancy entails.

For example:

You could buy the dress Kate Middleton has for a nice $340, or head on down to your nearest Banana Republic and spend a sweet $130 for a lookalike.  You never know when you may run into the Michelle Obama The Goveners Wife your local mayor's wife at the downtown bistro? Right???

You also have to know what is NOT fancy.

For example:

What is that mess that Leighton Meester was attempting to wear? Not fancy. Not to mention this was a NEW YEARS outfit.


Also anything by this train wreck is not fancy...

Yep, I did just put that old picture up of Cray Lindsay. When the word "Lindsay Lohan" creeps into a story, or "Lalohan" happens to be brough up in conversation, this is the picture I will constantly think of. She hasn't exactly changed her image yet, has she?

Definition of Fancy:

I'm not quite sure how much of the worlds population consider themselves to be fancy, but the people who run this blog would love to consider themselves, at least maybe a bit of themselves - fancy.

People in the south may have one thing that pops into their mind when they hear the word, "fancy".

That's right. Good ol' Reba. She wrote a song about a mother who may or may not have prostituted her child for money  made her into an erotic dancer told her to be nice to the fellas and they'll be nice to you ;). The mother in the song also decided when she birthed the child to name her "Fancy" (who names their child that?).  Fancy is one of Reba's big hits, and at any given Saturday night in the south you will potentially find an inebriated southern beauty belting this from her small town stage.

Either way, the idea of this blog is to entertain you with what we consider to be fancy or entertaining, or possibly both.  

Any maybe, just maybe - you'll get to meet the creators behind the fanciness.
